The new RM 011 Boutique Special is adaptation of the original RM 011 Felipe Massa Flyback Chronograph and will be available in 12 pieces only at the official RM boutiques in Paris (2, Place Vendome) and Geneva (Grand Hotel Kempinski, 19, Quai du Mont Blanc).
The RM 011 Boutique Special features an ‘All Gray’ treatment which consists of a gray PVD coating applied on a microblasted titanium case; the white dial ring comes on a black rubber strap with an All Gray PVD-treated buckle to give the watch and extra touch of exclusiveness.
In 2007, Richard Mille released the RM 011 which was developed in collaboration with Felipe Massa.
This watch named after him takes its cues from the high-tech engineering of F1 racing cars to deliver uncommon precision. The Flyback Chronograph function is a feature allowing restart of the chronograph whilst it is running without having to first stop and then restart the mechanism.
This watch also boasts an annual calendar function, 60-minute countdown timer, oversized date 12-hour totalizer and a case design combining a titanium central caseband.
