Leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M), continues to expand its Transaction Advisory Group with the appointment of David Evans as Managing Director and a European Practice Leader.
Mr. Evans joins A&M’s London office, where he brings over 20 years of experience in transaction service engagements. His primary areas of concentration are buy side and sell side due diligence for private equity and large corporates. Mr. Evans has worked with clients across a range of industries, and has deep expertise in the TMT sector.
Mr. Evans started his career with Arthur Andersen and then Deloitte where he was a partner for 13 years – the last five years of which he spent leading the transaction services team in London. He has worked on over 150 successful transactions in both the UK and internationally and spent three years in Deloitte’s New York office between 2003 and 2006.
Mr. Evans will be working alongside Managing Directors Adrian Balcombe, Age Lindenbergh and Juergen Zapf who are based in the UK, Netherlands and Germany, respectively. The four will now comprise the executive leadership committee of the Transaction Advisory Group Europe practice and will continue to grow the business by establishing new client relationships and hiring and developing talented individuals.

Mr. Evans earned a law degree from the Edinburgh University and is a UK Chartered Accountant.
