Unlike the hugely popular takeover of Chelsea FC by Roman Abramovic the £790 million pound takeover of Manchester United has failed to impress many supporters. Worries about the budget for the new season has caused nothing but trouble for the team and the Glazer family . . .
Speculation has mounted among the Manchester United Supporters and management that the budget for each season willbe only a weak £25 million pounds.
However last night Joel Glazer who is expected to become Uniteds Chairman in the near future says that this is not so.
Joel told MUTV, “We are going to provide the manager with the resources necessary to field the best team”.
Joel moved on to assure all supporters that it would be the worlds best players that would be bought if they become available.
Many unsatisfied fans showed extreme opposition to the takeover by Malcolm Glazer a month ago and it still continues.
Many fans were outraged when Glazer placed his two sons on the board of directors in the team earlier this month.
Many fans changed colours at Glazers takeover. However others have decided to give Glazer a chance and have stayed true supporters to the club during this difficult time.
